Doug Hawn has finished the enormous task of compiling information about the entries into the various open classes at the Greene County Fair. Eighty-six persons of all ages took a total of 446 entries to the fair.
Best in the class ribbons were awarded as follows:

- Genealogy: adult- David Roquet; youth- Nicholas Stream

- Agriculture: display collection- Laura McKnight; fruit- Pat Ott; herb- Laura McKnight; potatoes- Joleen Allen; vegetable- Kori Vogel
- Floriculture: hosta- Avery Bardole; lily- Dave Walker; rose- Marilyn Lawton; specimen- Carol Zwicky; artistic design- Mary Ellen Hotz; house plant- Sharon Fisher
- Junior citizen: ages 2-10- Grace Hardaway; ages 11-16- Joe Thompson
